PCMG’s Just Call Me Veto Shows His Love For Music And Wrestling With New Single ‘D.D.P.’

MUSIC

Atlanta rising star and industry vet, Just Call Me Veto recently inked a partnership deal between his independent label Self Driven LLC and Clay James’ Playas Club Music Group imprint. Shortly after this, Playas Club Music Group partnered with CWE Distro, and their first release since joining forces is Veto’s new single ‘D.D.P’ produced by Fki’s Sauce Lord Rich. This uptempo, energetic, and bar heavy track is definitely a banger and we recommend you add it to your playlist asap. This song was a great way to introduce PCMG fans to one of Veto’s favorite hobbies and past times, which is wrestling. Veto has been into wrestling for quite some time and Diamond Dallas Page was one of his favorite wrestlers growing up. Rumor has it, Diamond Dallas Page has actually heard Veto’s new single which is an ode to him, and he approves of it. Don’t be surprised if you see DDP and Veto actually kicking it one day. You can stream this track on all digital streaming platforms and watch his live performances of ‘D.D.P.’ on popular indie platforms The Lyrical Parlor and The Delivery Spot. Be on the look out for Just Call Me Veto’s next project ‘Sh!t Hit Different’ executive produced by Sauce Lord Rich dropping later this year on Even Biz.

Get to know music artist Cam The Feature

INTERVIEWS

Thank you for spending time with us! Please introduce yourself to our readers and tell us where you’re from.
My name is Cam The Feature.

How did you discover that music is your passion?
By the age of 8 I was already locked in on wanting to pursue music. I had been writing my own lyrics over popular songs at the time. The very next year I recorded my first song and the journey began after that.

How would you describe your style of music?
I would describe my style as exciting, versatile, distinctive, lyrical and truthful.

Out of all the songs you’ve written, which one is the most personal for you and why?
I would have to say my new single Customer. We are all customers in some kind of way so the song is undeniably relatable. The lyrics will always stand true.

Are you interested in tapping into other genres? If so, which ones?
Of course, besides Hip Hop I really like Pop, Rock, and R&B. I don’t aspire to be one dimensional.

Tell us about the single you are currently pushing and where it’s available.
The new single is called Customer. The song is about how supply and demand will never die. Products and goods will always be sold and bought. Highlighting the fact that this cycle will never end. So if you have something worth selling somebody is prepared to purchase. You just have to make a plan and take action.

Are you currently in EP/album mode?
I’m in EP mode right now.

What’s been the biggest struggle or obstacle that you’ve overcame since pursuing Music?
Overthinking was a big dilemma for me because I had a growing catalog of music with no idea on how to reach listeners. I procrastinated thinking I could collaborate with others thinking we had the same intentions. I regret not putting the time and energy into myself. Also not fully understanding the workings of social media created self doubt. Now I’m past all that and this is my first solo project without any collaborations and I’m excited to share it. I was up for the challenge this time and it was worth it.

What else can we catch you doing when you are not creating music? Any hobbies?
You can catch me spending my free time with my kids. I love seeing their growth and I want to see them excel and achieve in life. I enjoy playing basketball as a competitive physical hobby and taking pictures of nature as a mental therapy hobby.

Are there currently other business ventures that you are pursuing?
I have a clothing brand called Alternative Measures. The brand goal is to aspire to believe and inspire to achieve. I think that’s a great mentality for entrepreneurs and creatives.

What’s next for you?
Building the brand is the next move and all that comes with it. It’s part of my journey so it means a lot to me. I’m ready to establish my presence.

Where can we keep up with you online?
Follow me Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Youtube @camthefeature

Any S/O’s?
I wanna give a shout out to my family and friends. Especially myself because my passion never ends.

He looks at the situation as a positive though explaining the injury ruined his basketball career but it helped him focus on his overall purpose.
