Singer-songwriter Kandice Cherelle dedicates single to domestic violence survivors and victims

Atlanta, Ga.— In honor of domestic violence victims and survivors everywhere, singer-songwriter and R&B artist Kandice Cherelle, is dedicating her single “Broken” in their honor.

Kandice Cherelle, a Metro Atlanta native and domestic violence survivor, is using her firsthand experience with domestic violence to help uplift other women and men.

Kandice Cherelle’s single, “Broken” talks about taking time to heal from the trauma of life so you can be the best person you can be. Domestic violence is a cause that she takes very seriously, but brokenness can hail from any situation. She decided to release the single in October , because it is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Kandice Cherelle’s mission is to entertain, inspire, and help her fans heal through music. Transitioning from gospel, she is using her testimony to help others, especially domestic violence victims, who feel “broken.”

“I truly believe that healing is possible, especially through music,” Kandice Chrelle said. “We’ve all been broken or felt defeated at some point. This song talks about putting health and self care first. Healing is possible.”

Broken will be available for download on all digital platforms, October 14, 2022.

Kandice is passionate about writing music that is relatable. Her mission is to inspire, entertain and help her fans and listeners heal through music. Kandice is transparent with her fans and desires to build a relationship with them.She is also an advocate for domestic violence victims and survivors.

Kandice is finishing her EP, “The Makeover,” which is a mixture of R&B, Hip Hop and Urban AC.
