Clay James & FKI Sauce Lord Rich Unveil Cover Art To Their Highly Anticipated ‘Kickin Pimpin Vol.2’ Project

Super producer Sauce Lord Rich who is 1/2 of the platinum selling production duo FKI, has teamed back up with Savannah hip hop star and actor Clay James. The two have reunited to continue their ‘Kickin Pimpin’ mixtape series which started back in 2015. The first installment of the series ‘Kickin Pimpin Vol.1’ debuted on Datpiff, LiveMixtapes, and Spinrilla. This project accumulated over 200,000 listens world wide and became an Atlanta indie scene classic. For this next volume, Sauce Lord Rich anticipates there will be even more people tuned in and that this project will give Clay James his first radio hit single. The two lead singles off ‘Kickin Pimpin Vol.2’ are ‘007’ and ‘How I Rock’ featuring A Pimp Named Sweet Tooth. The records have already been released and are showing a lot of promise. ‘007’ has accumulated over 100,000 streams on all platforms and ‘How I Rock’ debuted at Number 9 on the iTunes Hip Hop Chart upon its release. Both of these songs were crowd favorites during Clay’s performances at this year’s SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas. Black Oxygen has worked their way to having a respectful name in the music game, recently signing a distribution deal with Warner Music Group/ADA/Twenty Two Recordings. Now a pop band based in Los Angeles, brothers David and Nick Lyle’s career started back in their midwestern hometown of Kansas City, winning first place in a battle of the bands and then David winning first place in a guitar competition. Surviving Andre: A Journey of Deception and Resilience

Richmond, Virginia, is the backdrop for a gripping new documentary, “Surviving Andre,” set to release on August 16, 2024. Filmed by Vzual Films, the documentary chronicles the harrowing experience of Nkese Hayes as she navigates the aftermath of being scammed by notorious con man Andre Vann aka Gepetto Jackson . With the creative support of Bone The Mack, this film promises to reveal the deep emotional and financial scars left by Vann’s deceit after he scammed her family of all their life savings. After trying to get legal justice to no avail , Ms Hayes has decided to take matters into her hands and is on a quest to tell her story publicly in hopes of creating awareness and eventually ending his 20 plus years of scamming innocent people . She hopes to put an end to the long list of victims all over the country .

For Nkese Hayes, this project is a significant diversion from her career as a psych nurse practitioner . She is well aware of the mental health repercussions victims endure from Andre’s crimes . Andre is one of many imposters who use celebrities and their identity to scam unsuspecting victims . This issue has become very prevalent in the music industry and can be mentally and emotionally devastating to his victims .
The documentary is a personal and professional milestone for Hayes, as she steps into the role of storyteller , victim , warrior, and advocate. By sharing her story, she aims to shed light on the pervasive problem of scams in the industry, hoping to prevent others from falling victim to similar schemes.

“Surviving Andre” not only delves into the specifics of Nkese’s ordeal but also explores the broader impact on her family and community. The journey of documenting this story was transformative for Hayes, offering a platform for healing and awareness.
