Bella Blaq is a hip hop artist from Blakely, GA who since the age of 14 knew that music was something that she wanted to take seriously. Developing her style over the years led her to stay focused, patient, determined and most of all consistent for 2 years where she finally released her album “Sweet Snacks” August 16th, 2022.

Sweet Snacks is a 16-track project that gives you flavor, reality, bounce, excitement, and surprises all mixed into one. When you think of Sweet Snacks you may assume everything has similar flavors all with one unique taste. Not Bella Blaq, with every song starting with her recipe Intro she gives you different surprises and something you truly need to hear.

Teaming up with Multi-Platinum producer Epikh pro she put together a great project. Lyrically giving you jewels, bars, great concepts, and most of all variety. This is while staying in line with her recipe theme throughout the project. Songs like Drowning, Bubble Gum, Whatever U Need, & Whoa show how great she is.

What’s going on? Please introduce yourself.

Hey, this is IL Boi hip hop artist straight out of the midwest.

Tell us about life growing up in your city.

I was born and raised in Illinois. I had a great child but had to rise from negative situations and shake that small-town mentality I faced growing up in such a small town.

Who or what was your musical influence?

I grew up listening to rap and Rnb all my life. I think a big influence was the No Limit and Cash Money area. It was a great time for music and it shaped me once I began rapping.

Tell us about the most valuable investment you’ve made for your music career.

I would say just investing in myself as an artist. Networking, traveling, and being willing to spend marketing dollars on me.

You have a new single ‘7 Days A Week’ tell us more about it.

7 Days A Week is my first collaboration with me and 23 Kp. The songs showcase both artists expressing their love for music 7 days out of the week. It’s a vibe and is catchy.

Besides music, what else can we catch you doing?

I love to BBQ and play games a lot.

What’s next for you?

I plan to keep building on the name IL Boi. I also plan to release more music and visuals.

“Ain’t No Nigga Like Me,” is Vain’s Theme Song and Special Dedication to Big Kap who we lost on February 3, of last year.

BIG Kap who achieved Platinum status for his and Funkmaster Flex‘s Album release, “The Tunnel” and is credited with helping to launch the career of Biggie Smalls, received numerous tributes after his death including one from the Grammy Awards!

Big Kap who co-signed Vain’s talent took Vain under his wing and into his studio where they collaborated on the single, “Bottles In The Air,” which features Vain, B. Morgan and a rare Big Kap vocal performance. Big Kap featured Vain’s single, “Throw It Back,” on his, ” State2State,” Mixtape which was his final release.

Vain went out on tour with Big Kap on his Burn Unit Legends Tour where Vain performed “Hello,” and he and Big Kap performed “Ain’t No Nigga Like Me,” together which was a personal favorite of Big Kap’s. They performed it live at the Coast to Coast Showcase and of this rare live performance footage is featured in the, ” Ain’t No Nigga Like Me,” video which can be seen here.

Currently, Vain has been burning up the National Radio Charts with his hit single

Meet EO The Mechanic
Eric Ortega was born and raised on the south side of Houston, Tx Hiram Clarke to be exact. Things were rough growing up there but EO had to do whatever he had to do to provide for his family helping out around his uncles body shop for $100 a week.

Passing the time EO would plug in his headphones and listen to SPM & Dope House Music and that led to him picking up sounds from Trae tha Truth, SUC & Bone Thugs & Harmony. Always honing his craft EO worked hard to develop his own sound and pushed his music independently with the help of social media.

Now working with EZ Access (Trae tha Truth’s road manager) EO has become “EO the Mechanic”. Taking label meetings and having distribution companies calling about his next project. EO finished his first tour and is currently on another one right now and set to release his debut mixtape Wrench Life Volume 1 on May 5, 2017 for Cinco De Mayo.
