Bella Blaq gives the world a taste of her flavors with her new album
Hip Hop has a way of showing the world that there is more than one way to showcase talent and opens up the doorway to try different things in many different avenues. Music can affect you differently and depending on how it affects you will determine how well the music is received. So, what happens when the music you receive is everything you expected?
Bella Blaq is a hip hop artist from Blakely, GA who since the age of 14 knew that music was something that she wanted to take seriously. Developing her style over the years led her to stay focused, patient, determined and most of all consistent for 2 years where she finally released her album “Sweet Snacks” August 16th, 2022.
Sweet Snacks is a 16-track project that gives you flavor, reality, bounce, excitement, and surprises all mixed into one. When you think of Sweet Snacks you may assume everything has similar flavors all with one unique taste. Not Bella Blaq, with every song starting with her recipe Intro she gives you different surprises and something you truly need to hear.
Teaming up with Multi-Platinum producer Epikh pro she put together a great project. Lyrically giving you jewels, bars, great concepts, and most of all variety. This is while staying in line with her recipe theme throughout the project. Songs like Drowning, Bubble Gum, Whatever U Need, & Whoa show how great she is.
Bella Blaq is not playing any games and for us she is Grynd Certified, and with that said stream “Sweet Snacks“ on all digital platforms.

Calico Blue born Antoine Freeman December 7, 1987 in Jacksonville, FL is an American hip hop/rap recording and performing artist. Calico brings a refreshing sound to today’s music scene. He has a revitalizing sound in an era of hip-hop where much of the music sounds alike. Calico Bluehas a deep hypnotizing voice that can be closely compared to the likes of Kevin Gates, Gorilla Zoe or Trae Da Truth.
Before we get into the mixtape lets discuss “Glow” Calico’s first single produced by M. Geezy. Glow, the intro to “The Pursuit” mixtape is where Calico delivers a gritty, smooth and bold statement to the culture. This statement being that, “it isn’t just jewelry that makes him glow!”. Calico has his own shine.
Calico has released 3 videos prior to putting his mixtape “The Pursuit” out to the world. His lead single “GLOW” has a visual that compliments the music in such a way that you would think the director of the video, was somehow involved in making the music. It gives your eyes the right pictures for the right sounds. He also released a video for his lyrically hard hitting track “The Proof” as well as a visual shot in Miami, FL for his smooth, melodic rap track “Slide”.
Calico also includes 3 bonus songs on the mixtape “Know my Name”, “Posture” and “LL” which give a little insight to Blue’s most recent and up coming sound so that listeners can get a feel for the direction of his music which will surely make them stay tuned for more!
Meet EO The Mechanic
Eric Ortega was born and raised on the south side of Houston, Tx Hiram Clarke to be exact. Things were rough growing up there but EO had to do whatever he had to do to provide for his family helping out around his uncles body shop for $100 a week.
Passing the time EO would plug in his headphones and listen to SPM & Dope House Music and that led to him picking up sounds from Trae tha Truth, SUC & Bone Thugs & Harmony. Always honing his craft EO worked hard to develop his own sound and pushed his music independently with the help of social media.
Now working with EZ Access (Trae tha Truth’s road manager) EO has become “EO the Mechanic”. Taking label meetings and having distribution companies calling about his next project. EO finished his first tour and is currently on another one right now and set to release his debut mixtape Wrench Life Volume 1 on May 5, 2017 for Cinco De Mayo.

FRANKLIN, TN – Fresh isn’t just the name of one of the hottest up-and-coming young rappers in the U.S. It’s also the definition of his sound – a new take on hip-hop that he says is very much needed in the industry right now.
“I feel as if a lot of upcoming new rappers all sound the same because of the flows that are hot right now and what people want to hear,” Fresh said. “But I don’t want my music to sound like other artists in the game. I want it to sound like my own style of music, while still being able to touch base with some of the new flows being established in the game right now. I want to build a sound that nobody in the hip-hop industry can mess with or has ever heard of before. That’s why I call myself Fresh.”
Fresh’s mixtape Love & Confliction” now available on Livemixtapes.com, Spinrilla.com, Datpiff.com, MyMixtapez App, and other outlets. “Every song has a message,” says Fresh, “it’s one of those mixtapes that you want to listen to all the way through. There’s some songs in there for the women, and there are some songs that are really smooth. There are songs that incorporate a lot of his life stories – the downfalls and betrayals in his life. The first single off the mixtape is titled “Attachment Issues”.
Attachment Issues is one of those songs that everyone can relate to if you’ve been in a relationship.

Dj DB405 aka Mr. #GodisTrill is an up and coming Dj from Oklahoma. As an Oklahoma native this is the place where he first fell in love with music. This is where it all began before being in the streets selling mixtapes, DJing nightclubs,
and grinding all around OKC at the young age of 16.
DJ DB405 is a Christian based Dj who is working with artists to create dope music with a positive message. Dj DB405 seeks to change lives through his music.Dj DB405 named this EP Lapwing Rd. after the street he grew up on in Edmond, OK.
Check out the promo video below.
Let’s get into “The Lapwing Rd.“ EP. Overall this is a crafty project. I am feeling the energy, the delivery, and production. Dj DB405 may be pushing “Christian” hip-hop which I know it may ruffle some peoples feathers, but lets keep it 1000 the music is better than a lot of the stuff you hear over and over on the radio. Thing is these artists need the exposure to get on that level. Who would of thought on Trap music for God? I love it! He delivers a positive message over trappy beats, and highly crafted engineering which is up to par with anything on the radio!
I’ll be first to admit that many “Christian” rappers have left a “corny” taste in my mouth. Its bascially the production, the over produced beats, and overly “churchy” sound. Its time we follow Dj DB405’s lead and support more Christian lyricists.
