Tymathe Lamb – “Be The Wave” // Kid Cudi Comparisons

Uncategorized

Tymathe Lamb is an up and coming artist who has recently been getting a lot of attention from comparisons between his visual “Be The Wave” and Kid Cudi’s “Surfin’.” Check out his visual detailing the comparisons between the tracks and read his thoughts on the entire situation below. “Being that ‘Be the Wave’ was my first hit single amongst those in my area. People were very aware of my idea and vision with trademarking #BetheWave. It’s been in rotation now for over a year. One of my listeners heard Kid Cudi’s “Surfin” and tagged me in her post on FB. Before I had the chance to check out the song, there were a lot of comments I won’t repeat. I watched the video once. The two ideas are very alike in word choice and melody. However, it’s coming from two different worlds. Kid Cudi has exactly what I am building, a SOLID FAN BASE. Artists like Kid Cudi, Lupe Fiasco and Chance the Rapper have solid fan bases. So they don’t have to follow the cadence trends like most artist seeking approval from listeners. My goal is to gain the ability to evolve sonically. They say, ‘Great Minds think alike’ and I can accept that. I know they hear me.”

DON MYKEL Ft. Austin Sour – Hunger Painz

Uncategorized
Don Mykel is back with his last offering before he gears up for yet another powerful project run. If you are not familiar with Don Mykel, the young and lyrical New York assassin had made quite a name for himself in 2016 and has kicked off 2017 just right after leaving Sway and Shade 45 in flames. The artist breathes New York, bringing a gritty vibe that New York has been lacking, a lyrical ability with his own tone that compares to Kendrick and J Cole, Don Mykel is not someone to overlook. Don lets go of some pain, demands and heavy bars in the new offering with Austin Sour on this Dunk Rock production.
