Joey Angels – “Usurper”

MUSIC

Joey Angels’ music video “Usurper” speaks loudly to today’s hip hop industry’s total degradation of its overall lyrical and musical quality in the past few years. He infers that the only way a rapper thinks they can get a hit is with songs over-saturated with sex, drugs and violence mixed in with some “lovely-dovey sad and lonely” lyrics. To Joey, “Everything’s been said before, not enough to say anymore. It’s all the same, you can’t ask for it by name.”

Tymathe Lamb – “Merrcy”

MUSIC
Up and coming artist Tymathe Lamb hits timelines again with his new visual “Merry.” See what he had to say on his experience early in his career and the significance of “Merrcy” below:
“Merrcy shows confidence. Think about that. It’s me claiming my spot in all of this. Shout out Big Mer! That’s Mer-rcy. Sadly it was my last track as a dirtyworka, local VA hip hop dynasty, I joined  around the time “Be the Wave” became popular. A song titled Cheese and wine feat Prano the youngin was placed on the “Just Because” deluxe edition as my exit from the group. Those guys will always be considered family but I had to detox my surroundings to further my career.”

J Crizzy – “Into The AM”

MUSIC

Born in Queens, New York on the East Coast and raised overseas in the Philippines, rapper J Crizzy is a testament to Hip-Hop’s unlimited reach across the globe.

This has been a passion for J Crizzy from the beginning, so this is no trapper turned rapper overnight situation, J Crizzy is truly passionate about his music.

Finding a love for Hip-Hop at an early age after reuniting with family in “The Bay,” J Crizzy dedicated his early years to singing in middle school, also picking up producing in high school.

“I put everything I have into this music. I taught myself over the years to be able to take an idea or experience and turn it into a fully mixed and mastered moment in time,” J Crizzy said. “Everything I speak on is from my life and everyone around me.”

Kicking things off J Crizzy is promoting his new single “Into The AM” which is the title track to his upcoming album.

“This project is dedicated to those that grind all week and go just as hard on the weekends. I’m at a point in my life where I am happy with where I am, but never I’m content and I know who is really here for me. This song goes over all these things,” J Crizzy explained.

For the Eric “Rogue” Brown produced track, J Crizzy hopes that he can reach fans from the Philippines to the Bay to Queens as he shows Hip-Hop knows no bounds.

Fans of the track can find all of his music on Spotfiy, AppleMusic, TIDAL and elsewhere on his website, www.jcrizzy.com.
